The Chicago White Sox recalled Mike Clevinger from Triple-A Charlotte, and he will start Monday night's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Clevinger, who finalized a $3 million, one-year contract on April 4, made two starts for Charlotte, allowing three runs and 10 hits over 7 1/3 innings. To make room on the roster, right-hander reliever Dominic Leone is expected to go on the 15-day injured list.
