ZTE, a large-scale Chinese ICT tech company, receives SBTi approval for near-term and long-term greenhouse gas emission reduction targets.

ZTE's science-based targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions have been approved by SBTi. The telecoms firm aims to cut absolute scope 1 and 2 emissions by 52% by 2030, 90% by 2040, and reach net-zero emissions across its value chain by 2050. This makes ZTE the first large-scale ICT tech company in China to receive SBTi approval for both near-term and long-term reduction targets.
