Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness announced his retirement from coaching after a 38-season NHL career, including leading the Jets to a 98-57-9 record over his two seasons with the team. Bowness, 69, was a finalist for the 2023-24 Jack Adams Award and has coached for eight different franchises, serving behind the bench for 17 playoff appearances and trips to the Stanley Cup Finals as an associate coach with the Vancouver Canucks in 2011, the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2015, and the Dallas Stars in 2020.
