80-year-old man hospitalized with serious injuries after car-tractor collision in Co Cork. The incident occurred on the N71 at Durrus Cross, Gortnacloona, near Bantry, at around 8:05pm on May 4. The driver, an 80-year-old man, was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment. The N71 and R591 are closed for a technical examination, and local diversions are in place. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage to come forward.
