38-year-old Kris Hallenga, founder of the breast cancer charity CoppaFeel!, passed away after a 15-year battle with cancer. Diagnosed at 23, she created the charity to advocate for early breast cancer detection and self-checking, reaching millions and helping to include cancer education in school curriculums. Hallenga's family requested privacy, but her charity asked that her memory be honored by checking one's chest.
