Tampa Bay Rays' pitcher Ryan Pepiot sustained a leg bruise from a 107.5 mph line drive in a game against the New York Mets.

Tampa Bay Rays' starting pitcher Ryan Pepiot sustained a lower left leg bruise after being hit by a 107.5 mph line drive from Starling Marte in the second inning of Sunday's game against the New York Mets. Pepiot was able to get up on his own but was removed after throwing some warm-up pitches. Pepiot is 3-2 with a 3.68 ERA in seven starts and was acquired from the Los Angeles Dodgers last December.
