Synopsys sells Software Integrity Group to Clearlake Capital and Francisco Partners for up to $2.1bn.

Synopsys, Inc. agrees to sell its Software Integrity Group to private equity firms Clearlake Capital Group and Francisco Partners for up to $2.1bn. The deal, expected to close in the second half of the year, includes up to $475m cash payable upon specified rate of return. Post-transaction, the new privately-held business will operate as an independent application security testing software provider.
