Energy giant Shell is reportedly in talks with Saudi Arabia's state-owned Saudi Aramco to sell its gas station business in Malaysia, the second-largest network in the country. Shell owns around 950 fuel stations across Malaysia and talks began in late 2023. A potential deal size is estimated at 4-5 billion ringgit ($844m-$1.06bn) and a deal could be finalized in the coming months, according to sources.
