700-seat amphitheater at Little Island, a Manhattan park above the Hudson River, will open on June 6 with Twyla Tharp's "How Long Blues", her first full-length work in a decade. The amphitheater, designed with tulip-shaped concrete columns, will also feature a 90-minute remix of Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro" from Aug 30 to Sept 22, and nine world premieres as part of the summer schedule.
