Russia will conduct military exercises involving tactical nuclear weapon scenarios, as a response to provocative statements and threats from Western officials, says the Russian Defence Ministry. The military drills will practice preparation and deployment of non-strategic nuclear weapons. The exercises, ordered by President Putin, aim to test the readiness of these forces to perform combat missions.
