Renergen, a listed gas producer, has successfully liquefied helium from its Virginia gas project in South Africa's Free State province, achieving 99.999% purity. The company's helium cold box has reached the appropriate temperature for liquefaction since April 2. Liquid helium production will be used to fill tanks for clients, and Renergen's JSE share price rose by 8.43% on May 6 following the announcement.
