Pretoria High Court orders RIC Development to pay R12m for fraudulently transferred gov't land meant for low-income housing and a school.

The Pretoria High Court granted a R53m forfeiture order to the SIU & Asset Forfeiture Unit, targeting a syndicate who fraudulently transferred gov't land. RIC Development, who bought the land, must pay Gauteng Dept. of Infrastructure Development R12m. The land, intended for low-income housing & a school, was defrauded from the Dept of Rural Development & Land Reform.
