Peanuts mistakenly returned to New Zealand supermarkets despite recall over safety concerns.
A batch of peanuts recalled over safety concerns due to potential aflatoxin levels has been mistakenly placed back on New Zealand supermarket shelves. Authorities urge customers who bought Value Pack Roasted Salted Peanuts since April 11 to check if their product is part of the recalled batch. New Zealand Food Safety (NZFS) is investigating how the error occurred and plans to review Prolife Foods' recall system to prevent a reoccurrence.
