The OECD reported a year-on-year inflation rate of 5.8% in March, with energy inflation positive for the first time since April 2023 at 0.6%. Food inflation decreased to 4.9%, and core inflation remained stable at 6.4%. G7 headline inflation increased slightly to 3.1%, while G20 and euro area inflation stayed at 6.9% and 2.4% respectively. Individual country variations in inflation rates were noted.
