461 Nestle Toronto workers strike over rejected pension plan and cost of living adjustments.

461 Nestle workers in Toronto have gone on strike after rejecting a tentative agreement made between the company and the union. The workers, who produce Kit Kat, Aero, Coffee Crisp and Smarties chocolate bars, wanted improvements to their pension plan and rejected a two-year freeze on cost of living adjustments. Nestle says the strike will not affect the immediate availability of the products in stores.
