10 million jobs created in India under Narendra Modi government, according to Surjit Bhalla.

Former India IMF executive director Surjit Bhalla claims an unprecedented number of jobs are being created under the Narendra Modi government, with around 10 million jobs created in the last 7-8 years. Bhalla stated that the least number of jobs were created during the UPA government period (2004-2013), when the term 'jobless growth' emerged. He noted that the Modi government has the highest job creation rate in Indian history.
