3 men, Sola Oyebanji, Azeez Jimoh, and Babatunde Ogunlade, have been sentenced to death by hanging in Nigeria for their involvement in armed robbery in Ekiti. Another defendant, Bidemi Babalola, was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment, while Oluwaseun Akinwale was acquitted. The five men were charged with conspiracy, armed robbery, receiving stolen properties, and membership of a secret cult.
