Iranian fishing boat intercepted by Indian Coast Guard off Koyilandy coast; six Indian fishermen from Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu held. The boat was heading towards Kerala coast, with crew members stating they were ill-treated, not provided basic living conditions, and their passports were confiscated. The boat was brought to Kochi for investigations and legal proceedings.
