2 injured, 1 arrested in downtown Roanoke assault; man faces malicious wounding charges. On May 5, Roanoke Police responded to reports of an assault on Church Ave SE, where they found 2 men with non-life-threatening lacerations. The suspect, William Salisbury, fled the scene but was later arrested and charged with 2 counts of malicious wounding. Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
