Indonesia proposes reducing its payment share for joint KF-21 fighter jet project with S. Korea from 1.6T won to 600B won.

Indonesia has proposed to cut its share of payments for the KF-21 joint fighter jet development project with South Korea to about one-third of the originally agreed amount, reported South Korean news agency Yonhap. Indonesia suggested to pay around 600 billion won ($442.47 million) instead of the original 1.6 trillion won by June 2026. The two countries are currently in final negotiations to resolve the cost-sharing issues.
