2 giant pandas, Xin Bao and Yun Chuan, will return to San Diego Zoo after a 5-year absence.
After a five-year absence, two giant pandas, Xin Bao (3) and Yun Chuan (5), will return to the San Diego Zoo in Southern California. The pandas were previously on loan from the China Wildlife Conservation Association for conservation efforts, which led to the species being moved from endangered to vulnerable. A new agreement has been reached, but a timeline for their arrival has not yet been provided.
