Chinese researchers at USTC achieve fractional quantum anomalous Hall state of photons, a breakthrough in quantum simulation technology.
Chinese researchers at USTC have realized the fractional quantum anomalous Hall state of photons for the first time, a breakthrough in quantum simulation technology expected to advance quantum physics research and computing. Led by Pan Jianwei, the team developed a new superconducting qubit, Plasmonium, enabling greater control and manipulation of complex quantum states, which could simulate challenging quantum systems for classical computers.
