Al Wakrah clinched the Qatar Cup title after beating Al Rayyan 1-0 in a thrilling final at the Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium. Substitute Nasser Saleh Alyazidi scored the winning goal in the 80th minute, helping Al Wakrah secure their first Qatar Cup crown since the tournament's name change in 2013-2014 season. Al Wakrah previously won the competition in 1999 when it was known as the Heir Apparent's Cup.
