Air New Zealand operated its first flight using New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) during NZSL Week, with cabin crew communicating with passengers through sign language. The flight, NZ421 from Auckland to Wellington, marked a significant step towards greater inclusion for the Deaf community. Around 400 Air New Zealand employees have completed an NZSL training module, and some crew members wore special NZSL Supporter lapel pins.
