Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah will make his 2024 MLB season debut on Sunday against the Washington Nationals, taking the place of Yariel Rodriguez who is on the 15-day injured list. Manoah, 26, last pitched for Triple A Buffalo, allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out 12 batters in six innings. His last major league appearance was on 10 August 2023, where he allowed four runs in four innings against the Cleveland Guardians.
