A body was found in West Auckland's Riverpark Reserve in Henderson suburb on Wednesday afternoon, with police treating the death as unexplained. The body was discovered near Bittern Place at around 12:40 pm. Forensic staff conducted a search-and-rescue operation and removed the body from the scene. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to determine the cause of death. Police inquiries are ongoing.
