30-year-old Idi Adamu, a resident of Wuro Ardo, Mubi North Local Government Area, Adamawa State, has been arrested by the police on charges of sexually assaulting his one-year-old stepdaughter. The arrest followed a complaint from the child's mother, his wife, who led to Adamu's arrest on Wednesday. The Adamawa State Police Command confirmed the incident in a statement on Friday.
