Wrexham AFC, a Welsh soccer club in the English league structure, will play a friendly match against the Vancouver Whitecaps on July 27. Wrexham gained popularity after actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney purchased the club in November 2020; they started filming a docuseries, "Welcome to Wrexham," around the same time. However, the friendly match prices are deemed not worth it by JURE.
