World Champion Max Verstappen set the fastest time in practice at the Miami Grand Prix, with Ferrari's Charles Leclerc spinning out early in the session. Verstappen's best lap time was 1:28.595, 0.105 seconds quicker than McLaren's Oscar Piastri. Carlos Sainz of Ferrari was third fastest, followed by Mercedes' George Russell. Leclerc managed only three laps during practice due to the incident.
