UEFA increases Euro 2024 team squad size to 26 players, up from previous 23.
UEFA has confirmed that teams participating in Euro 2024 will be allowed to name 26-player squads, up from the usual 23 players. The decision was made to help cope with injuries and was also implemented for Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup. UEFA's Executive Committee made this decision to increase squad sizes for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 in Germany. The deadline to submit the final squad list is June 7th.
