St. Joseph County Humane Society investigates abandonment of dead parvo-infected puppy at its door.
The Humane Society of St. Joseph County is investigating the abandonment of a dead puppy at its front door on Friday morning. The puppy, believed to have died from parvo, a highly contagious virus, was dropped off at 7:36 am at the shelter's location on Grape Road in Mishawaka. The Humane Society hopes to identify the individuals responsible for the abandonment to ensure their other dogs are safe.
