Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has nominated Sardar Saleem Haider Khan for Punjab's governorship, with the announcement expected soon. Sardar Saleem Haider, a former federal minister and prime minister's aide for overseas Pakistanis, is also the president of the Bilawal-led party's Rawalpindi division. The federal government will issue the appointment notification of Sardar Salim Haider on Friday.
