Osun State High Court prevents Governor Adeleke from installing Prince Oyelakin as Aree of Iree due to a motion filed by former Aree, Oba Ademola.
An Osun State High Court has barred Governor Ademola Adeleke from installing Prince Muritala Oyelakin as the new Aree of Iree, and from issuing Oyelakin with a certificate, instrument, or Staff of Office. The court granted the injunction in response to a motion ex parte filed by the former Aree, Oba Raphael Ademola, who was installed by former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola. The order prevents the governor from taking any further steps in formally installing Oyelakin until the hearing and determination of the substantive suit.
