Nigeria's Minister of Education pledges to remove individuals with fake university certificates from organizations, following a report on degree milling.

Nigeria's Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, promises to identify and remove individuals with fake university certificates from public and private organizations. This follows a report by the Inter-Ministerial Investigative Committee on Degree Certificate Milling. The Committee found some degree-awarding schools operating from small flats. The Ministry plans to cooperate with relevant agencies, digitize and automate the education system, and collaborate with foreign countries to tackle the issue of degree mills.
