A Middletown man, Harold Dean Lilly, was arrested for animal cruelty and abandonment after a puppy was found abandoned in a park.
A Middletown man, Harold Dean Lilly, has been arrested and charged with cruelty to a companion animal and abandoning animals after a puppy was found abandoned in a tied drawstring bag at Hamilton's L.J. Smith Park. The puppy, later named Ryder, was found with no food or water, and is now being cared for by the Animal Friends Humane Society. Lilly awaits arraignment in Hamilton Municipal Court.
