Overnight, a kids' playground in Brisbane's north-west, Fenwick Park in Mitchelton, was destroyed by fire. Extensive damage is visible at the newly renovated park. Police are investigating the suspicious fire and have appealed for information. Emergency services were called at 1:10 am. Councillor for Enoggera Ward, Andrew Wines, expressed disappointment and mentioned rebuilding the playground.
