Kashmir Police introduce GPS tracker anklets for accused individuals on bail. The first use of this technology in the region aims to monitor the movements of terror-accused and narcotics drug suspects, improving surveillance and enabling authorities to determine if accused individuals continue with wrongdoings or change their ways. The GPS trackers were previously implemented in Jammu for similar purposes.
