India's Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports approves proposals for athletes Jyothi Yarraji and Shaili Singh to compete in qualifying events for the Paris Olympics. Under the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS), the Mission Olympic Cell (MOC) will cover airfare, visas, accommodation, and other expenses for the athletes. Additional funding is approved for badminton, table tennis, and skeet shoot players.
