Central African Republic's Special Criminal Court issues arrest warrant for ex-President Bozizé, accused of crimes against humanity (2009-2013).

Central African Republic's Special Criminal Court (SCC) has issued an arrest warrant for former President François Bozizé, accusing him of crimes against humanity allegedly committed between 2009-2013 by his forces. Bozizé fled the country in 2013 and is currently in hiding in Guinea-Bissau, where the SCC calls for his extradition. The court, established in 2015, has staff from both national and international judges and personnel.
