Russian-linked Black Basta ransomware gang is responsible for a breach impacting about 200 Australian organizations, including federal government agencies. The hack exposed sensitive data of family violence and sexual assault victims, students, and passport holders, totaling 395 gigabytes. The group held a dark web auction for the stolen data from Victorian data management firm ZircoDATA.
