New Indo-Pacific Command leader, Adm. Sam Paparo, takes charge as China's influence increases in the region. The change of command ceremony in Hawaii saw the presence of top US military officials, as well as defense ministers from Australia and the Philippines, and heads of state from Micronesia and Palau. Paparo assumes command as US forces face "grey zone" operations by China in the West Philippine Sea.
