24-year-old Nicholas Caretta admitted guilt to manslaughter and leaving the scene of a hit-and-run accident that killed 22-year-old Josiah Porchea in Rochester in April 2023. Caretta faces a potential 4 to 12 years in prison when he is sentenced on May 13th. Porchea was discovered in the road and later died in hospital after Caretta hit him while he was standing near his parked car and fled the scene.
