60-year-old Brookfield man, Joseph Anderson, died in a crash on Highway 36, three miles west of Chillicothe. Anderson's 2007 Dodge Ram experienced a mechanical issue, causing him to veer off the road, strike a guard rail, and be ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at Hedrick Medical Center. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Anderson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
