Vietnam aims to increase its electricity supply to 310.6 billion kWh this year, with a 4.4 billion kWh rise from the previous plan. The Ministry of Industry and Trade cites rapid economic recovery in Q1 2022 and higher demand for electricity as reasons for the adjustment. The country will also prepare 111.468 billion kWh for the dry season, which runs from April to July.
