UK stocks rise as services PMI improves; FTSE 100 up 0.4%. The British economy is pulling out of last year's shallow recession, as the dominant services sector grew at its fastest pace in nearly a year. The benchmark FTSE 100 rose by 30 points to 8,202 after a preliminary reading of 54.9 and higher than March's 53.1.
