6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku emphasized the crucial role of parliaments in protecting cultural heritage. Secretary General of the International Parliamentarians Congress, Sitara Ayaz, highlighted that safeguarding cultural heritage cannot be solely achieved by laws and requires engagement from stakeholders such as government agencies, civil society organizations, and local communities. The forum, attended by over 700 guests from 100 countries, stressed the importance of strong legal frameworks, adequate funding, and global collaboration for preserving and promoting cultural heritage.
