South Korea's Naver Corp. reviews options for its holding in Japan's LY Corp under pressure from Tokyo.

South Korea's Naver Corp., the country's largest internet firm, is reviewing its options for its holding in the operator of Japan's most popular messaging app, LY Corp, following pressure from Tokyo. Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has advised Naver to reduce its holding in LY, which is majority owned by a joint venture between Japan's SoftBank and Naver. Naver CEO Choi Soo-yeon stated that the company is still pondering the matter and has not yet decided its stance on its share in LY.
