Ocado, Lidl, and M&S ranked as UK's fastest-growing grocers in Q1 2024, with Ocado's sales rising 12.0%, Lidl's up 9.5%, and M&S's up 9.3% year-on-year, according to NIQ data. Tesco (5.8%) and Sainsbury's (6.6%) also experienced growth, while Asda sales declined 0.9%, Aldi saw 1.3% growth, and Morrisons reported 4.4% growth. Food inflation slowed to 3.4% during this period.
