Pakistan establishes National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCIA) under Ministry of Information Technology.

Pakistan's federal government has created the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCIA) under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication. The agency replaces the FIA Cybercrime Wing and will focus on cybercrime prevention and investigation, including cases of hacking, online fraud, and digital terrorism. The NCIA will assume responsibility for ongoing cases and transfer FIA Cybercrime Wing officers and employees.
