969MW Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Plant in Pakistan temporarily shut down for pressure inspection.

Pakistan's Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Plant, with a 969MW capacity, was temporarily shut down for a physical inspection of its head race tunnel due to a sudden decrease in pressure. The plant, which had been operating at a restricted generation of 530MW since April 6, experienced continuous pressure fluctuation issues. After the shutdown, a comprehensive plan will be developed in collaboration with project consultants and international experts to identify the problem and implement remedial measures.
